Margie Ann Laster Shirley

Margie Ann Laster Shirley was born April 27, 1932, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to William and Coza Laster. She passed away on October 6, 2023, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Margie was a fabulous Southern cook and a talented seamstress. She was a housemother for 20 years at Sigma Chi Fraternity at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Margie is survived by two daughters, Mary Lynn Richards (Mark) of Rogers, Arkansas, and Dinah Yates (Michael) of Little Rock, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Ashton Woodward (Linda), and Garrett Yates, and
two great grandchildren, Jack and Lila Woodward.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
