Erica Bartholomew was born on September 16, 1973, to Jack Williams and Deborah Williams in Dallas, Texas with five siblings, Angelique Williams, Jack Williams Jr., Felicia Williams and Adrien Williams.

Erica was married to Rick Bartholomew Jr. for 35 years and went on to have six children, Reneisha Bartholomew 30 years old, Tiffany Bartholomew 29 years old and husband Lucas Landis, Zareena Bartholomew 28 years old, Moniqka Bartholomew 22yrs old, Erick Bartholomew 19yrs and Rickey Bartholomew (Deceased) with a host of grandchildren.
